Desc: I'm a stay at home mom of 23 month old fraternal twins; they are my only children. I am looking to care for 1 to 2 children in my home. The slot is available to children 3 MONTHS and older. Multiples are welcome!! I have part time and full time care available, Monday - Friday. I have flexible hours but prefer day hours. I prefer only to care for a small number of children that way I can give them more one on one attention and love. However, they still will get plenty of social interaction along with my two children and with occasional play dates. I like to do lots of arts and crafts, cooking projects, learning activities and reading time. I try to teach children skills that are appropriate for their age. I believe in giving my children many experiences and take them out of the home (for recreation, errands, play dates) as often as necessary. I have a clean driving record, drive a large safe vehicle and I am insured. The occasional pick up or drop off can be arranged with advance notice. Meals and snack will be provided using many organic products.
I worked in childcare for many years with children ranging from infants to teenagers. I have experience as a lifeguard, aide, camp counselor and preschool teacher. I also have an Associates Degree in Elementary Education. Prior to the birth of my children I worked at a local Police Department and my husband has been a police officer for over 6 years.
I live in a clean, non-smoking home with 2 non-shedding toy breed dogs who are very friendly. I am located in a small subdividion on Lake Anna (in Spotsylvania County) with very little road traffic. I am in the Livingston Elementary, Post Oak Middle, Spotsylvania High School district.
