We are currently seeking a bright, imaginative, and self-directed Recruiter to service customers throughout the US working in our Southfield, MI office, supporting our rapid national expansion. Overview As more and more companies are forced to identify ways to cut cost, many are choosing to outsource non-core business processes as a way to streamline operations. One such area that many of the nations leading truck fleets operators have identified as an opportunity for significant cost reductions is in outsourcing of recruitment for transportation related functions. MTS Driver Recruiters supports this increasing demand by supplying outsourced recruitment and HR solutions to companies who operate large national truck fleets. MTS provides a valuable “niche” service - managing the increasingly difficult task of driver recruitment on behalf of various companies who operate large truck fleets in order to distribute their own goods. Summary It is the primary responsibility of the MTS Recruiter to source and recruit qualified driver candidates for placement with existing MTS customers. He/she writes job postings and announcements for the new positions and distributes those opportunities by email or standard mail to qualified candidates based on specific search criteria. The Recruiter works to develop a thorough understanding of all customer requirements and related information in order to ensure effective sourcing, screening, and selection of right-fit drivers to fill orders. Ideal candidates should have extensive recruiting experience including Internet recruiting. Candidate must have strong interactive and communication skills including ability to articulate the benefits of open positions both verbally and in written promotional literature. Candidate must have excellent computer skills with experience in traditional office computer applications and standard Internet and database technologies. Qualifications l Administer Internet recruiting and sourcing processes to insure an adequate pool of qualified drivers nationwide l Administer our nationwide database of commercial drivers and transportation industry management personnel Major Responsibilities l Recruit and source drivers in accordance with MTS operational requirements l Source resumes and make outbound recruiting calls from within MTS' nationwide driver database l Source driver resumes from Internet sites to populate nationwide database l Gain and continuously improve knowledge DOT regulations as needed to effectively carry out recruiting and sourcing activities l Monitor and maximize response to job postings, newspaper ads and promotional campaigns l Conduct e-mail blast and other communications processes to communicate open positions with database population l Develop and utilize promotional processes aimed at passive candidates in an effort to increase recruiting effectiveness l Plan recruiting and sourcing activities to insure efficient use of resources including job site selection, job postings, mail campaigns, and other recruiting activities l Develop processes to maximize retention of drivers you recruit l Coordinate closely with the Sales Department to know status of upcoming customer needs l Monitor status of open job orders during all phases of the recruiting process l Develop recruiting and promotional material as needed l Complete daily, weekly, and quarterly activity reports and updates as needed MTS Driver Recruiters serves the North American transportation community with the most experienced and highly qualified logistics-recruiting staff coupled with the most advanced technologies and robust processes for the outsourced recruitment of qualified commercial truck drivers and related transportation staff on behalf of our transportation clients.
