Desc: REDUCED FOR QUICK SALE. I am seriously losing big money on this but it has to go. Do the math: $5000 for the boat, $2000 new engine, $400 new manifolds, $2500 misc. expenses and extras, $2000 labor to do just about everything! And that's not counting all the smaller miscellaneous stuff you spend money on tweaking it up! This is a 1989 Bayliner Capri 2150 Bowrider for sale, and quite possibly, one of the best used boat packages you will find!!. WAIT!! Before you moan that its a 1989, check out what's been done to her... nearly completely refitted!

It has a new, remanufactured engine, a Ford 5.8L (351W) engine with a Holley 4 barrel carb. Less than 10 hours on this engine! The engine is from Thunderbolt Engines in Houston, TX. See their website at tbolt.net for details on their engines. In the process, I converted from center to end riser exhaust manifolds, which are brand new. These provide some increase in horsepower as well as allow the engine to breathe easier. The carb has a new power valve and I had a new kit installed in it within 5 hours operating time. This boat will do around 50mph or better easily with 4-6 people in it with the new engine, exhausts and power valve. Plenty of power for tubers or skiers. Complete maintenence record included!
When the new engine was installed, everything was serviced at that time: new oil and filter, new starter, fuel filter, greased gimbal bearings, aligned outdrive shaft, etc. This boat needs nothing except to be used!
This boat will seat 12 people and sleep 6! It has a new bimini top with zipper cover for stowing, and a custom, full boat cover worth about $800 by itself! I have ALL the snap-on covers that are used for sleeping privacy. There is a built-in, insulated cooler area with door, and a sit-down head. Newly installed Panasonic AM/FM/CD player with removeable faceplate, new antenna, brand new hourmeter installed in the dash, a removeable depthfinder, compass, horn, two locking glove compartments, and fire extinguisher. All front and rear seat cushions remove for access to storage compartments beneath.
All upholstery is in good condition with some scratches. The carpet is good with no wear holes anywhere. Custom stainless edging has been added at strategic spots around the floor. For those who like to trailer with an uncovered boat, it has installed eyehooks and bungie cords to act as hold-downs for all rear cushions so they stay put.
Also included are lifejackets, paddles, stowaway table, fore and aft anchors, docking bumpers, etc. This boat is totally COMPLETE and ready to run. It is super roomy, and with its deep vee hull design, rides solidly in any water.
She sits on a tandem axle Escort trailer, with brakes on all 4 wheels. Brakes were recently fully serviced and now have all new wheel cylinders and new master cylinder. It has LED amber and red guide lights all around the trailer. Very cool! Also included are new rear tie-downs. The trailer also has new tires. The boat trailers with ease and the tandem rides smoothly over the road with added stability.
It has many upgrades and extras. I think this is one of the best buys you will find on a used boat. I'm sure you will be thrilled with this package as I was, as it is truly ready to run. This is not some fix-up project, or a boat that "just needs a few things" done to it. Buy it and head to the lake!
