Desc: My name is Holly Bramble and I am an employee of Life Practice Counseling Group, a non-profit organization that provides affordable individual, couple, and family therapy. I have a Master of Science Degree in Couple and Family Therapy from the University of Maryland. Currently, I am waiting to receive my MFT Intern number from the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, and I am supervised by Gary Henderson, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, LMFT #7053
My therapy experience consists of work with individuals, couples, and entire families. I believe the therapeutic relationship provides a truly unique opportunity for growth, healing, and change. I consider it a privilege to be a witness to my clients’ stories and to play a part in their transformation process. Typically, I work from a Narrative, Cognitive-Behavioral, or Solution-Focused perspective. However, I often use a blend of theoretical orientations and interventions that I feel best meet the needs of the client. I have worked with individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, and life transition issues. My experience with couples consists of issues revolving around communication, problem solving, anger management, and infidelity. My work with families includes addressing concerns about co-parenting and divorce, blended families, and children dealing with ADHD and ODD. I have also worked with clients who are referred by the court system, and I am trained in Child-Centered Play Therapy.
Education: M.S. in Couple and Family Therapy from the University of Maryland.; B.S. in Human Development from UC Davis, Minors in Sociology and Religious Studies.
