Desc: Hey there Mom's and Dad's Thanks for reading. I am a stay at home step-mom of two beautiful very sweet girls who I have been raising for 5 years. Summer is coming and they usually go to their biological mother's for the summer, well is just eating me away. I hate not having those little laughs and giggles in my house. SO figured I would help out those in need of childcare for the summer or possible full-time. I am 27 years old, never been in trouble, not even a speeding ticket. Non-Smoker, I am a Cert. Nursing Assistant worked in an emergency room for 3 years in Columbia, Nannied for a family of 3 for almost 6 years. I have great references that can be given. I live in the lower part of Rock Hill, SC off x-73 in the Edgemoor area. I have a very nice large home with plenty of room for fun and outside activities. Rates will be very reasonable. Healthy breakfast and lunch will be provided along with snacks. I will keep record of everything your child does while in my care for you. I will also show all lesson plans if needed.
A typical day for us would be breakfast at arrival time
Approx. 30 to 45 mins. table play (coloring, homemade play dough, writing ABC's 123's) Also depends on childs age
Hour of learning time in morning
Morning snack
Hour of outside play depending on weather (balls, kites, walks, ext...)
Lunch Time (meals will be planned out and given to you weekly)
Approx. 30 to 45 mins. more story time activities/songs (learning small motor skills) Again also depends on childs age
Hour of Art Activities
2 Hours of Nap-time (children 4 and under only, unless parent says otherwise)
Afternoon snacks
Approx. 30 mins. finishing art activities if nothing to finish, free play
30 mins. of Computer learning games one on one activity
30 mins. of table play (color, play dough, writing ext...)
Another hour of outside play depending on weather

Because this is more of a home environment not a daycare stuff like snacks/juice, free play, learning games, art activities, table time, can all change depending on child. I am going to work around him/her and do what they seem to be interested in at the time. Another words if your child has a bad morning or late night I would do something a little more exciting and really fun to start their day! Or if they don't feel good something more relaxing. Nap-time, and lunch time would be the only thing that would always stay the same. I really enjoy going to parks that would consist of a lot of our days. And if approval okay swimming in the summertime. I would also like to go to the Discovery Place in Charlotte once, the water park in Columbia at Ft. Jackson military base, and the Lazy 5 in Mooresville, NC. Stuff like that would be discussed more in detail with all parents before planning if anything was unconformable to any parent I would not plan. Like I said because I am wanting to start an at home childcare I am going to be more open to everything with all parents.
