Desc: I will begin providing daycare in my home beginning Sunday, May 3rd. I may be able to start sooner if needed, so please don't hesitate to ask if the date is an issue for you. For hours between 6 am and 8 pm, I will charge $3/hour for children ages 2 and under, and for those 3 and up, I will charge $2/hour. For any time before 6 am or after 8 pm, I will charge $5/hour for all ages. I live in the Timberlake area of Virginia Beach, and my house is right behind White Oaks Elementary. I have an 8-year-old son who attends White Oaks, so I'm more than happy to provide before- and after-school care for any children also attending the same school. During the school year, I do take my son to school (approx 8:15 am) and pick him up (approx 3 pm), so if I will be watching your child during those times, I will need to take them with me to the school. We usually walk to school on nice days and drive on days when the weather is not so nice. I am more than happy to provide you with a copy of my Motor Vehicle Report from DMV so that you can see that I have a clean driving record. I'd also love to take the children to places to play (for example, Mt. Trashmore), especially during the summer time, but if you're not comfortable with that, that's ok too. I am certified by the American Red Cross for Universal Precautions, and I will be completing their course on May 2nd for certification in Infant/Child CPR and Basic First Aid (which is why I've chosen May 3rd as my start date).
