I have been repairing computers for over 5 years now. I can repair/build PC desktops and I can repair laptops. Most places in Wichita charge at least $75 for diagnostics. Then you will have repair labor, parts, and fees. Just a simple reformat could run you $100. I can do this for a more reasonable price than these people. I am currently attending Butler County Community College for a Software Development degree ( computer programming).
I charge for desktops:
- $40.00 for trip to your home, diagnose the issue, and try to repair this issue. This is 1 hour.
- Each additional hour beyond the first is $15.00.
- Teaching you about the computer and showing you what you could do that will save you time and money with me or any other company. If you want this and it runs over the hour, you will be charged an additional hour.
- I can replace hardware or install software or reformat your machine. This is all included in your price above.
I charge for laptops:
- $50.00 for trip to your home, diagnose the issue, and try to repair this issue. This is 1 hour.
- Each additional hour beyond the first is $20.00.
- Teaching you about the computer and showing you what you could do that will save you time and money with me or any other company.
- I can replace hardware or install software or reformat your machine. This is all included in your price above.
- Hardware replacing is quite expensive on laptops and I will advise you depending on the situation.
I charge for building a custom desktop:
- It will be $30.00 to come out and sit down with you and go over your options.
- Once you have decided what you want, we will order it or go buy it.
- When all parts are at the site, I will put together and install all software you request.
- Install, assembly, and testing is all $75.00.
- All parts and software provided for the machine is purchased by you the customer.
- I give a 30 day assembly warranty. (all repairs or adjustments within these 30 days will only be done by me.)
- All software installed has no warranty due to viruses, spyware, and other stuff you can get through the internet.
*All parts are provided by you the customer. IE If you need a new hard drive for your desktop computer. You have to purchase these items before I will install.
*Factory made computers like Dell or HP will be more difficult to obtain parts for. You can order them through their websites, but will take time to arrive.
*If you have a manufacture warranty, DO NOT hire me. Call your computers maker.
*If I arrive at your home and diagnose your computer as needing some new hardware for it, I will provide information of what you can get for the computer.
*If your computer needs hardware that is not already at your home, I will leave your site and charge you for the current time.
*Once the hardware arrives at your home, I will come back out and install this hardware for half of the beginning hour (IE $20.00 desktop $25.00 laptop). Any additional time spent on the site will be half price of the hourly beyond the second.
*I can provide lessons for you about your computer for the same price above.
*There is no charge by the minute. If I come to your home and spend 1 hour 15 mins on site for a desktop, the price is $55.00 owed.
**I accept Cash or money orders. NO CHECKS OR CREDIT CARDS ACCEPTED. So do not schedule me to come to your home if you do not have the money.
Disclaimer: I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at anytime. If I feel my safety is in danger, I will leave the site with the current charges owed. I will provide Photo ID and I will provide a name to all that reply. Only I will be arriving at your site. Refusal to pay will result in a lawsuit. If I provide you a service, you are obligated to pay.
