Desc: The nurturing and care of children has been the passion of my life. I have been a stay home mom for my four children. Their ages are 16, 14, 7, and 5. My actual plan after college was to become a child advocate for family court. However, I began starting my family right away and found my calling there.
Our house is the house where all the neighborhood kids want to come and play. I enjoy seeing children experience things for the first time and as they develop further.
I offer care from newborn through age 5 (pre-K), and afterschool care for school agers. I currently homeschool my 5 year old son until he starts kindergarten in the Leander School District in the fall of 2009. We have structured lesson plans from a curriculum I've found on the internet designed for preschoolers. There are several educationally based toys for individual or group play for your child to engage in. We encourage and incorporate physical and creative activity. There will be age appropriate trips including, parks, pools, library story time, etc. I am able to provide transportation to and from nearby schools if necessary. A weekly menu of meals and snacks will be provided.
Babies are my joy. I'm going to sound like I'm gushing here, but a bond with an infant is so sweet and pure. I understand the need to feel that your child is in the best possible care outside of your own. Be assured your child will receive the love and attention they deserve while you are away.
In addition, I feel communication between the parent and caregiver is very important. Therefore, I commit to daily feedback from me to you. Updates from you regarding your childs well being and specific needs are also necessary to providing proper care to your child.
