Title: Children love to learn at Anne's daycare

Desc: My name is Anne and I run a small preschool out of my home. I limit myself to watching four children, and have a four year old and ten year old of my own. I went to college in Santa Barbara and studied Early Childhood Education. After completing the course I went on to teach preschool, as the head teacher, in Alameda, CA. I have been finger printed, and have taken CPR for both children and infants.
Since starting my home preschool in January 2006, I've had the same three children in my care. At this time I am looking for two special children to join our fun group for full or part time care, ages 2 years and over, as we do preschool activities and fun outings.
The major crossroads for our house are Gilbert and Baseline Road. We have a huge backyard with tons of toys and a big play house. (No Pool) We do have one big lazy cat, and a 5lb Yorkie that loves the children!
We do a variety of activities here, so the children are kept very busy. They love circle time where we read stories, sing songs, learn the month and days of the week, count 1-30, and spell out our names on the ABC chart. They love playing blocks, play dough, puzzles, and board games in their free time. We also have a child friendly iMAC with preschool learning games that the children work on daily. Every week we have a different theme with activities and art projects that correspond. We have cooking day every Thursday where everyone can participate in cooking our snack, a big hit with all the kids!
As part of a Mom's Club here in Gilbert we also have the opportunity to participate in a lot of fun outings such as visiting the Fire Station, the Little Gym, puppet shows, and various parks around town. (All activities are included in your weekly fee)
