My home is a Multi-Age home, with spots for children between the ages of 6 months and 12 years of age. My home is a non-smoking residence, with no pets. Children need a loving, safe and caring environment to enhance their development and growth; in my care they would get the comfort and care that they need and are used to in a “Home away from home” environment. My original profession is that of a Physician’s Assistant for the past 7.5 years. I have also worked as a Social Workers assistant in Germany for over 8 years. I have 2 boys of my own, ages 13 and 14 yrs. I helped raise my cousins in the past, and had my God-Daughter in my care for most of the year in 2007. I have also had extensive experience in taking care of children in my previous job at a Halfway House for battered and abused women and children. My home is open Monday thru Friday between the hours of 7:00 am and 5:00 pm, with extended care available. I provide healthy breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner as well.
